This is an introductory post to a series of post on the following exam :- PRO: Designing and Developing Windows Azure Applications

I aim to blog about the material I read and the demo code I work with whilst studying for the exam. At the moment I have no real ideas what The Cloud really is and what Azure and Sql Azure is – this is a good way for me to learn about something which may or may not be used in the coming years where I work, if not then at least it will be something I have knowledge of.

I am currently reading Azure in Action by Chris Hay and will work through the examples and blog as I go.

The next post will cover the creation and testing of a Hello World Azure Web Application – more to follow soon.

Having successfully passed this exam second time around and having had some time to reflect on it I thought I would post some useful links and resources for fellow devs who may be sitting this exam.

I cannot go into the content of the exam and tell you about it but I will post the links I used to study for the exam below.

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist .Net 4 in Data Access
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist .Net 4 in Service Communication Applications
